Pedicure: This two day course provides students with all of the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out professional pedicures, luxury treatments and give expert nail care advice. Day one will cover the theory of pedicures, relevant anatomy and physiology, nail diseases and disorders, product knowledge, benefits and effects.  A practical demonstration will follow and then students will practice on each other and/or on models.  Day two will cover the procedures of luxury pedicures, the application of masks and heated boots. Case studies showing light, dark and French polishing will be required to be completed before candidates return for the practical and theoretical assessments.     Pre-entry requirements: None
Outcome of course: A qualification in Pedicures, allowing students to practice in a professional capacity. The certificate will be awarded by The Park School of Beauty Therapy and be accredited by the Guild of professional therapists.    Price: £110

Cosmetic make-up: This 2 day comprehensive course covers all theoretical and practical aspects of make up application and skin preparation. Day one will cover all relevant anatomy and physiology, contra-indications and product knowledge, make-up application for day and evening make-ups.  Day two will recap the theory work and show the application of special occasion make up. Case studies are a requirement of this course, with photographic evidence, as well as completing a practical and written assessment on day two.     Pre-entry requirements: None
Outcome of course: Students will be awarded with a qualification in cosmetic make up, allowing them to work in a professional environment. The certificate will be awarded by The Park School of Beauty therapy and accredited by The Guild of Professional Therapists.     Price: £130

Body Massage: This three day intensive course in practical body massage. Day one will cover the theory needed for body massage including health and safety, contra-indications, contra-actions and after care advice, massage movements for the legs, arms and abdomen. Day two will recap on work done so far and the routine for the back, neck and décolleté massage. The full massage will be practiced on students and models. Day three will recap on all work covered, the submitting case studies and a practical and theory assessment.   Pre entry requirements: Anatomy & physiology
Outcome of course: A certificate in body massage allowing successful candidates to practice as a massage therapist and gain insurance.    Price: £180

Eye treatments: A two day course covering eye treatments: tinting, perming, eyebrow shaping and eyelash extensions. Day one will cover the delivery of the practical and theory knowledge and day two will be predominantly based around assessments. Practice will be needed in between these days and documented in the form of case studies with photographic evidence will be required.

Outcome of course: A qualification to carry out professional treatments in the areas listed above. The qualification will be certified by The Park School of beauty Therapy and accredited by The Guild of Professional Therapists.   Price: £140

Nail Technology: This two day course provides the theory and practical skills needed to carry out silk and fibreglass nail extensions. Day one will cover anatomy and physiology, product knowledge, health and safety, contra-indications, demonstrations and practical skills needed to perform professional nail extensions. Day two will cover maintenance and a practical assessment. Case studies with photographic evidence will be required to achieve certification.            Pre-entry requirements: None
Outcome of course: A qualification in advanced nail technology allowing you to practice in a professional capacity. The course is accredited by The Guild of Professional Therapists who are able to provide insurance.    Price: £180

Nail art: This one day course covers a small amount of theory and then practical skills in different forms of nail art for both natural and artificial nails. Techniques include striping tape, nail jewellery, transfers, glitter dusts, Rhine stone application, free hand nail art, foils and more. Case studies will then be carried out and submitted for certification to be achieved.                      Pre-entry requirements: None
Outcome of course: Candidates will be qualified to practice many forms of nail art, and be able to give nail art treatments to a very high professional standard. The certificate will be awarded by The Park School of Beauty therapy and accredited by The Guild of Professional therapists.     Price: £99
