F.A.Q.’s
Do I need a doctor’s referral?
You do not need a doctor’s referral, although if you are coming via a private medical company they may require one, please check your policy.
Will physiotherapy help me?
This can only be answered after a detailed assessment, when a history will be taken and a physical examination will take place. The probable diagnosis will then be discussed along with an individually tailored treatment plan. If physiotherapy will not help we will inform you and if necessary refer you to your G.P. or the most appropriate health care professional.
What do I need to bring?
The assessment often involves some undressing, depending upon the area of your treatment, so you may wish to bring shorts or wear appropriate underwear or clothing.
